Color printing is much more complicated than before

Should you get the color inkjet or laser?

Color printing is very important to the computer user nowadays. If you are planning to print a document with pictures in it then you certainly have to get a color printer. If you are thinking about the debate between inkjet and laser then you are at it again. This never ending debate will go on and on. Here are a few guidelines that you should consider when buying a color printer. First of all, you have to consider the quality of the output. In general, there is really not much difference between the color inkjet and the color laser printer. If you look at the print quality, you are not going to notice much of a difference with the printers today. If you are very meticulous about the print quality then there may be a slightly better quality for the inkjet printers. Note the term slightly. The difference may not even be noticeable to some users. What you should think about is the price that you have to pay for the color printer cartridge or the color toner. Initially, you are going to spend more on a color laser printer but in the long run, the amount of money that you will spend on the toner or printer ink will be much less than what you will spend for an inkjet printer. Think about the costs in the long run. You are going to be printing pictures of flowers and trees. How much ink will you use up for these things?

Color printers can cost you

If you are going to print a lot of pictures then you have to be prepared to spend a lot of money. If you are printing a lot of pictures, you also have to factor in the speed of your printer. If you are in the digital photography business and you have to churn out several pictures in a limited amount of time then maybe you should opt for the laser printers instead. You may compromise a bit on quality but you are going to save a lot of time and a lot of money compared to using the inkjet printers. Always think of the long run when you are buying a printer. If you are going to use a lot of color then make sure that you think these things over. You may lose hundreds and hundreds of dollars if you do not make a sound decision about your choice of color printer.
